Accountability Partner Programme
Become an Accountability Partner
A peer accountability programme — not counselling, not coaching, but something just as powerful. Partners who have done their own belief work help others do theirs.
"The best accountability partnership is specific, honest attention from someone who knows where your belief operates — and cares enough to name it when you won't." — Mariyah Acka'a

Your partner journey
Stage 1 — Application
Complete your own belief profile, write a personal reflection on your unchaining journey, and commit to the Partner Code of Conduct. Takes 20–30 minutes.
Stage 2 — Trial Partnership
You're matched with a trial partner for one free 30-day session. They rate you at the end. Score of 3.5/5 or above: you're accredited. Below 3.5: feedback, 60-day pause, then reapply.
Stage 3 — Accredited Partner
You're live in the paid matching pool. Earn 85% of each session fee after the client rates. Trusted Partner badge unlocks at a cumulative score of 4.5/5+ over 10 sessions.
Re-accreditation — Every 6 months
A brief renewal: re-read the Code of Conduct, confirm your belief profile is current, submit a short reflection on a recent partnership. Miss the window and you're auto-suspended until complete.

Stage 1 of 5 — About you
Tell us about yourself
Stage 2 of 5 — Your journey
Your unchaining story
This is not about being healed or having it all figured out. It's about having done enough of your own work to hold space for someone else doing theirs.
Minimum 150 words. We read every application personally.
Stage 3 of 5 — Code of conduct
The Partner Code of Conduct
Read carefully. This is not a formality — it is the standard the programme is built on. You will re-commit to this every six months.
1
This is peer accountability, not therapy or coaching. You are not qualified — and not required — to diagnose, treat, or solve. Your role is to listen, witness, and hold people to what they said they wanted.
2
Confidentiality is non-negotiable. What your partner shares in sessions stays between you. No exceptions. Breach of confidentiality is immediate removal from the programme with no right of appeal.
3
You will refer, not rescue. If a partner is in significant distress, mentions self-harm, or discloses something beyond the scope of peer accountability, your role is to refer them to appropriate professional support — not to handle it yourself.
4
You will not give advice unless explicitly asked. The partnership is built on questions, reflection, and accountability — not direction. When you catch yourself wanting to advise, ask a question instead.
5
You will show up when you say you will. Missed sessions without 24 hours' notice count against your reliability score. Three unexcused absences in any 6-month period triggers review.
6
You will not pursue personal or commercial relationships with clients outside the platform during or within 6 months of an active partnership without declaring it to the programme.
7
You will continue your own work. Partners who stop working on their own beliefs stop being effective for others. Re-accreditation checks this. Stagnation is a reason to step back, not stay in.
8
You will accept honest feedback. Client ratings are private but final. If you receive a below-threshold score, you will engage with the feedback before reapplying — not contest it.

I commit to upholding this code in every partnership session
I understand that breach of the confidentiality clause results in immediate removal
I understand I will re-commit to this code every 6 months
Stage 4 of 5 — Knowing your limits
Boundaries & referral
The most important skill in peer accountability is knowing when you are out of your depth — and what to do next.
When to refer — immediately, without hesitation
If your partner discloses: active suicidal ideation or self-harm. A safeguarding concern involving a child or vulnerable adult. Domestic abuse or immediate safety risk. Severe mental health symptoms (psychosis, severe dissociation). Alcohol or substance dependency that is out of control.
Say: "What you're sharing is important and I want to make sure you get the right support. This is beyond what I can hold as a peer partner — can I help you find someone qualified to talk to?"
When to pause and check in with the programme
If you are unsure whether something is within scope. If a partner becomes dependent on you in a way that feels unhealthy. If you feel your own belief patterns are being activated in a way that's affecting your ability to hold space. If a partnership feels stuck for more than 4 sessions with no movement.
One last thing before you submit. A short self-assessment — not a test, but a mirror.
Self-assessment — rate yourself honestly
On a scale of 1–5, where are you with each of these? 1 = still developing, 5 = genuinely strong.
My ability to listen without giving advice
My ability to ask questions that open rather than direct
My ability to name what I observe without projecting
My ability to hold someone's discomfort without rushing to fix it
My self-awareness about my own belief patterns
I confirm everything in this application is true and given in good faith. I understand that misrepresentation is grounds for immediate removal.

Payment breakdown
How payments work
Payment is released after your client submits a rating. If the session scores 3.5/5 or above, you receive 85% automatically. Sessions rated 1–2/5 are unpaid and the client receives a full refund. Sessions rated 3/5 are unpaid and the client receives 50% back. Your first session is always free — rated but not paid.
Payout schedule
Earnings are batched and paid weekly, every Friday, to your registered bank account or PayPal. Minimum payout threshold: £10. Sessions rated below threshold are excluded automatically — no action required from you.
Belief movement — your client impact
At 30 and 90 days, your clients complete a brief check-in on how much their primary belief has shifted. This is your impact data — private to you and the platform, used in aggregate for programme reporting.

Find an accountability partner
Your unchaining partner
Accredited partners have done their own belief work, committed to a code of conduct, and been rated by previous clients. Your first session is free.
What to expect from a session
A 30–60 minute conversation. Your partner listens, asks questions, and holds you to what you said you wanted. They do not give advice unless you ask. They do not judge. They do name it when they see your belief operating — that's the whole point. You rate the session after. Payment releases on your rating.

Session pricing
Partners set their own session rates within the programme's recommended range of £25–£85 per session. Your first session is always free. You pay after rating — payment is only released to the partner if you rate 3.5/5 or above. If below: you receive a partial or full refund automatically.
